StillPoint Dance Theatre
As a professional modern dance company we are committed to creating quality and relevant works of art with a motivation to bring reconciliation to families, cultures, nations, and ultimately to man and his Creator.
Through dance theatre our hope is to reveal the beauty, humor, truth, and joy in our lives, and also to bring awareness of human suffering in tragedies such as war, poverty, child abuse, slavery, and the AIDS epidemic. The members of StillPoint Dance Theatre want to be artists who are calling people into the “eye of the storm,” the place of peace which our Lord alone can provide in this very unstable world. We desire to inspire the imagination for creative peace-making and cultural transformation.
The company has a repertory that can be performed in professional theatres as well as in orphanages, prisons, hospitals and churches.
